Fresh bread and pastries on a bakery counter

Buenos días,
welcome in.

There's nothing quite like the smell of fresh pan dulce wafting through the neighborhood. At Panadería Torres, we've been greeting Chicago with warm bread, real coffee, and an open heart — every single morning.

Our Story

A corner of Mexico,
right here in Chicago

When the Torres family opened our doors on West 63rd Street back in 1987, we brought with us something that can't be bought at a supermarket: a recipe for everything, from the conchas to the empanadas de leche, handed down through three generations.

We wake up before sunrise so that by the time you walk in, the smell of piloncillo and vanilla is already greeting you. Our café is where families break bread after mass, where students grab a quick café con leche between classes, and where neighbors become friends over a basket of fresh quesadillas.
